Incisoria Panno collars are developed for the world of hunting, training and dog breeding, with a range that includes high-visibility collars, personalized versions, models for small dogs and made-to-measure BioThane® cord collars.
One of the most distinctive features is the use of water- and dirt-resistant technical materials , combined with the option of directly engraving the collar with a name, phone number, or other identifying information. Personalization is done using a milling cutter, not a simple surface print, resulting in a permanent and legible mark over time.
BioThane®: a material particularly suitable for hunting collars
BioThane® represents one of the most attractive solutions for hunting because it combines flexibility, tensile strength, and ease of maintenance. In Incisoria Panno collars , the material is used in both band and special cord models.
BioThane® is water-repellent, easy to wash, and wear-resistant . It doesn't absorb water and mud like many traditional textiles and can be quickly cleaned after use in the woods. Incisoria Panno also describes it as soft to the touch, flexible, and resistant to traction and abrasion.
High visibility collars for hunting dogs
The range includes numerous high-visibility collars , available in colours such as orange, yellow, red, green, blue and pink, and the tricolour collar with the Italian flag. The highly visible shades can make it easier to spot the dog in vegetation, especially during hunting in the woods, working trials and training.
The material used in the high visibility collars is described by the company as washable, water resistant and capable of maintaining its softness and shine over time, without stiffening like some cheaper plastic materials.
Milled engraving: name and number remain legible
One of the most useful features of the range is the ability to create personalized collars with milling engraving . Unlike a surface print, engraving physically removes part of the coating, creating a permanent inscription.
The owner can enter the dog's name, phone number, or other identifying information. Some models also allow for two-line personalization , useful when you want to separate the name and contact information.
For those who use dogs while hunting, this feature has concrete value: a highly visible and clearly identified collar can facilitate the recovery of the animal in the event of wandering off or getting lost.
Collars compatible with satellite and beeper systems
Incisoria Panno also develops customized collars and strips for satellite and tracking systems . The catalog includes, for example, customized collars for Garmin and the Bitrabi Mito series, as well as engraved side strips for satellite collars.

This makes the range particularly interesting for those who use beepers, GPS, and electronic training systems . The collar can be adapted to the presence of the device, leaving enough space to insert a legible customization.
In the case of the collars dedicated to the Bitrabi Mito series, Incisoria Panno uses an engraving layout specifically designed to be able to include the telephone number even in the limited space available on the collar.

Beeper Adaptability
When hunting with a pointing dog, the beeper continues to be one of the most widely used accessories for locating the dog in vegetation and identifying whether it's moving or pointing. Incisoria Panno collars can be configured to accommodate a suitable band for the device while simultaneously maintaining the collar's identification function.
The availability of different sizes and widths allows you to choose the support based on the Beeper or receiver used, avoiding collars that are excessively wide or, on the contrary, unsuitable for properly holding the device.
Sizes also for small dogs
A particularly interesting aspect of the range is the availability of collars designed specifically for small dogs . Incisoria Panno offers a high-visibility version measuring 1,5 x 43 cm , available in both plain and engraved versions.
This measurement helps avoid using overly large or heavy collars on smaller dogs. This is an important feature for terriers, dachshunds, and other small hunting dogs, where an oversized accessory can be uncomfortable.
Collars made of engraved BioThane® cord
Among the most unique products is the engraved BioThane® cord collar . This fixed collar is made from a 6 mm BioThane® USA circular element , completed with a black, turned and anodized aluminum plate.
The combination of a small cross-section and flexibility makes this type of collar particularly lightweight and compact. The material is also water-repellent, tensile-resistant, and easily washable.
The plate can be engraved with a name or telephone number, thus maintaining its identifying function without having to apply hanging tags that could get caught in vegetation.
Custom made cord collars
BioThane® cord collars are made to measure . Since they are fixed collars, Incisoria Panno requires the inside measurement of the neck taken behind the ears.
The available sizes range approximately from 26 to 60 cm , therefore including both small and larger dogs.
The ability to choose a precise size avoids excess material and allows for a more snug collar that is consistent with the dog's morphology.
Available colors
BioThane® and high-visibility materials also offer a wide range of colors. Colors such as orange, yellow, brown, pink, and green are available for BioThane® cord collars , while the overall range of collars includes additional shades and combinations.
In the hunting context, color can have a practical function: orange, yellow and fluorescent green make it easier to identify the dog or collar in the vegetation and are particularly interesting when working in dense forest.
Metal buckle and robustness of the fixing points
In its band collars, Incisoria Panno uses metal buckles and rivets . In some configurations dedicated to electronic collars, the buckle is secured with four rivets, and the company claims the system has considerable tensile strength.
The quality of the hardware is important because the locking point is one of the areas most stressed during use with energetic dogs or during training.
BioThane® collars and cord collars: two different philosophies
The traditional BioThane® band offers a large surface area, particularly suitable for mounting beepers, GPS receivers, and electronic systems. The BioThane® cord collar, on the other hand, favors lightness, minimal bulk, and simplicity.
Therefore, these two options are not completely interchangeable. The first is particularly suitable when the collar also needs to serve as a platform for other devices; the second is interesting when you're looking for a lightweight, waterproof ID collar.

Conclusions: a range designed for the working dog
Incisoria Panno collars are particularly interesting because the range isn't limited to just one type of user. Hunters who use beepers or GPS devices can choose a band suitable for their electronic devices; those looking for a simple, lightweight collar can opt for the BioThane® cord; and those who own a small dog have specific sizes available.
BioThane® adds features particularly suited to hunting: durability, water repellency, and quick cleaning. Engraved personalization also makes the collar instantly identifiable and allows the owner's details to be printed directly on the accessory.
It is therefore a line that combines identification function, adaptability to hunting devices, choice of sizes and practicality of the material , with solutions designed for both pointing dogs and small-sized subjects or dogs used in different canine activities.
