The Abruzzo Regional Administrative Court has not granted a stay on Federcaccia's appeal regarding the hunting calendar, setting a new hearing date for October 10th to consider the merits of the appeal.
The Regional Administrative Court (TAR) has asked the Abruzzo Region to modify the calendar and reinstate huntable species. Specifically, these are the gadwall, northern pintail, northern shoveler, common pochard, common ruff, ruffed ruff, and tufted duck.
According to the regional lawyer, the species were not included in the 2018-2019 hunting calendar due to pure forgetfulness, despite being identified as huntable by national law.
We are therefore awaiting the responses regarding the hearing with the TAR, in the hope that the Court will also confirm this decision in the hearing on the merits.
