The National Lapwing Management Plan was approved today at the State-Regions Conference, an important step that undoubtedly represents a success for the hunting world but also a challenge for the future.
Federcaccia, which has pursued this goal with commitment and dedication, extends its thanks to all who contributed to its achievement, particularly the outgoing Environment Councillor of the Marche Region, Stefano Aguzzi, and the offices of the Ministry of the Environment.
In the video, Dr. Michele Sorrenti, Scientific Coordinator of the Federcaccia Studies and Research Office, expresses his satisfaction with the result achieved, but also emphasizes the role hunters must play in the conservation of the species, through environmental improvements and nest protection.
Below is a video in which Dr. Michele Sorrenti explains in detail how a lapwing management plan works.
