The 828U represents a new style and concept in over-and-under watches. Not just a mere exercise in aesthetic research, but a unique piece in which form and function are interdependent and, above all, designed with man in mind.
Dynamic characteristics are a strong point of an over-and-under, which ideally is light and well-balanced. However, lightness is nothing if the gun doesn't guarantee adequate ballistic performance and, above all, if it isn't comfortable and controllable to the maximum degree, which also requires the gun to be highly adaptable to the user's preferences and physical needs. The 828 U embodies this concept of balance. The delicate lightness, the structural solidity of the gun, and the power when firing are balanced by the perfect balance of its components. Wood and mechanics blend together to create an over-and-under with the ideal weight and ergonomic and functional shapes.

Great importance has been given to the shooter's comfort, and the progressive comfort is tangible proof of this.
The ability to vary the length of the stock combined with a recoil and muzzle climb moderation system is a major innovation, even more so considering that in addition to the recoil pads, interchangeable combs are also available to modify the drop and cast according to your needs. These ideas, innovative for an over-and-under, then took the form of the Progressive Comfort system (patented), which includes: recoil reducer, interchangeable combs and recoil pads, micrometric variation of drop and cast with 40 possible combinations created by 5 drop plates (45/50/55/60/65) and 4 cast plates (+6/-6, +3/-3, +6/-6 1/2 cast, +3/-3 1/2 cast).
The 828U has overcome the traditional barriers of drop and cast, allowing for personalized modularity with a simple movement. Instant shouldering and constant aiming are now available to everyone, thanks to the countless options for adjusting drop and cast to suit your personal needs. With the 828U, you can ensure optimal performance and instinctive comfort tailored to you. Specifically, ideal drop and cast occur when, instinctively and naturally, the eye is perfectly aligned with the aiming line.
The Progressive Comfort itself is a differentiated cushioning system connected directly to the shock-absorbing buttpad and inserted into a cavity in the rear part of the stock.
The standard LOP (trigger-recoil distance) is 375 mm, which can be increased to 385 mm by replacing the butt plate, or a stock with a LOP of 365 mm can also be requested. The stock has interchangeable combs made of special polyurethane thanks to which the shooter can assume the most suitable head position, maximizing comfort and minimizing the risk of deafness which, with shotguns, arises primarily from the vibrations that the stock transmits to the jaw and from there pass to the skull. The interchangeable comb is such without the need for tools, the replacement is quick and maximizes the shooter's comfort.
Continuing on the topic of comfort, it is right to add that the Progressive Comfort of the 828 U was designed specifically for over-and-under shotguns, but in addition to the general configuration, the optimization for loads with 28-36 grams of pellets, even at high velocity, has been maintained.
The Progressive Comfort system is patented, as are the manually resettable extractable trigger, the locking plate, and the new barrel welding technology; there are therefore 4 patents covering our new over-and-under which, we would like to reiterate once again, is not only highly innovative, but constitutes "a new style".
Following the great success of the 828 U "project" that began in 2015 with the BLACK and SILVER versions available with barrel lengths of 65 and 70 cm, the over-and-under range is destined to expand, and in fact an 828U with new LOP (trigger-butt distance) combinations is entering the national market. The offering is significantly expanding, and the 12-gauge 828U has new versions. Here are those introduced:
- 828 U in the version with 76 cm barrel and 828 U Compact with LOP 345 cm, which can be extended to a length of 355 cm (828 U Compact Plus) by replacing the standard buttplate with the optional long buttplate. The 828 U project now covers 5 buttplate-trigger lengths: 345-355-365-375-385.
- 828 U Left Hand, which fully meets the needs of left-handed hunters. In addition to the ability to cast the stock to the left thanks to “Perfect Fitting” (the drop and cast adjustment system already present on all models), the 828 U Left Hand also offers a top lever designed to mirror the line of sight and operated by pressing from right to left.
