The 2018 edition of Caccia Village at UmbriaFiere closed last Sunday, confirming its growing success. Organizers recorded a 5% increase in attendance compared to last year.
" But what matters most, from our point of view," emphasized Andrea Castellani, President of Fiera Show, " is the quality we've seen both from the public in attendance, who showed greater awareness of the products on display and their needs, and from the usability of the event itself. This year, thanks to the revamped layout, it was decidedly more enjoyable for both hunters and exhibitors. We took a gamble, and the result proved us right. "
Among the new features of 2018 that made the difference was the rich calendar of workshops dedicated to updating and training for hunters.
“ The brief format of the meetings, on current topics and with the possibility of a direct exchange between enthusiasts and experts ,” explained Riccardo Ceccarelli, coordinator of the cultural program at Caccia Village , “ was a winning one and will certainly need to be expanded for the next edition .”
We are therefore pleased with the progress made by the Caccia Village, which continually renews itself and increasingly meets the needs of the hunting community, which, not surprisingly, finds its focal point in the Bastia Umbra event.
“Our audience ,” Castellani added, “ has further expanded: hunters from Central Italy have been joined by an ever-increasing number of those from the South, led by Lazio and Campania, who arrive on trips organized by the hunting associations themselves .”
But Caccia Village is also increasingly attracting political attention to the world of hunting, as demonstrated during the last edition by the institutional presence, starting with the regional councilor for Agriculture and Hunting, Fernanda Cecchini, the President of the Umbria Region, Catiuscia Marini, who visited the fair on Sunday to personally meet with organizers, exhibitors, and associations, and the numerous parliamentarians who chose the Caccia Village to take stock of the hunting situation.
" We thank the Umbria Region and the Municipality of Bastia Umbra for their continued support of the Caccia Village since its first edition," concluded Andrea Castellani . " We are honored that, every year, parliamentarians from different political parties come to the fair to listen to the needs of hunters, associations, and businesses.
