The English Hunters' Federation aims to increase the generational turnover of its members by attracting young people to hunting.
The British Game and Hunting Association (BASC) has increased its commitment to promoting hunting among young people and to facilitating the generational turnover of a "population" of more than a million people, the majority of whom are over 40 years old.
Most of them are young people who grew up without any contact with the rural world and the realities of nature, with no knowledge of hunting and little knowledge of the countryside.
BASC has set itself the goal of raising public awareness of the benefits of hunting, especially among young people, by encouraging them to approach the world of hunting and ultimately enabling them to practice it.
Over 1500 young people participate in these initiatives each year, especially in popular hunting and rural events. Many young people attend summer camps with scouts who have been specially trained by BASC, which organizes wildlife management activities, conferences, and seminars—all events considered highly beneficial for attracting young people to hunting.
