Following the announcement of the postponement of the prestigious Nuremberg fair, the German Trade Fair Authority has announced the new dates for the beginning of September.
The growing spread of the coronavirus is the factor that led the Nuremberg Fair to cancel the IWA Outdoor Classic, Europe's largest event for the firearms, sporting goods, and defense sectors and all related industries.
From the very beginning, there was no talk of cancellation, but rather of finding a new date, achieved through significant consultation and information gathering with all the stakeholders involved.
This important consultation process resulted in the new date, which the Board of Directors of Messe Nuremberg set in a press release.
IWA 2020 will be held in September, specifically from the 3rd to the 6th. In the same press release, the Fair Authority apologized to everyone, customers and partners, for the postponement of the date, but given the exceptional nature of the current situation, it was not possible to confirm the previously scheduled date.
