Leica brings the perfection of the aspherical lens to a red dot for the first time, offering the hunter a dot with extraordinary sharpness in 12 intensity levels, a perfect and curvature-free image, and an incredibly free and clean aim even on the move.
Tempus is machined from a single piece of aluminum, its clicks are precise and reliable, the battery can be replaced without disassembling it, and it is available with a 2 or 3.5 MOA dot diameter, parallax-free beyond 50 meters.
The new Tempus ASPH. By Leica Sport Optic marks an extraordinary advance in red dot sighting systems for driven hunts. Thanks to its experience in the photographic field, Leica is the first top manufacturer to design its red dot sight with an aspherical lens that produces an even sharper and brighter illuminated dot, very high image quality and extraordinary viewing comfort.
The advantages of this innovation are immediately perceived in the sharpness of the image with sculpted contrasts and absolute colour fidelity, in the clean aim with no curvature even in movement, in the freedom to aim very quickly with both eyes open and the visual sensation that the structure of the instrument virtually does not exist.
The illuminated dot, with 12 brightness levels, is so sharp that it appears exactly like that of the best riflescopes and therefore does not interfere with target acquisition. It is available in a 2 or 3,5 MOA version.
The compact and lightweight structure of the Leica The Tempus ASPH. is crafted from a single piece of solid aluminum, ensuring great stability and robustness. It is waterproof, compact, and lightweight (53.5 x 34.5 x 28 mm, weighing 37 grams). The click system is precise and reliable, offering a maximum adjustment range of 100MOA x 100MOA, and can be unlocked/locked simply with an Allen key.
Tempus also demonstrates its excellence in details, such as the possibility of replacing the battery without having to disassemble the instrument, automatic shutdown after 4 hours of inactivity and aiming precision even at the longest distances thanks to the absence of parallax beyond 50 metres.
I Leica Tempus ASPH. 2.0 MOA and Leica Tempus ASPH. 3.5 MOA will be available in spring 2018 at a price of €565 including VAT.
