An in-depth meeting to learn more about many lesser-known aspects of the scolopacidae.
In Rosignano Solvay, the FIDC section of Rosignano Marittimo is jointly organizing with the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters an interesting conference on the woodcock for Saturday 3 September at 18:30 pm. The conference is entitled: SCOLOPAX RUTICOLA – Study of the ethology and migration of the woodcock.
The meeting will be opened by Marco Romagnoli, Regional Secretary of CCT, who will introduce the speech by Alessandro Tedeschi, president of the "Amici di Scolopax" association, also a technician from the FIDC National Studies and Research Office.
In particular, it will focus on the most current studies on the ethology of the woodcock as well as a broad discussion of its migration.
An event not to be missed, for those who, like woodcock hunting enthusiasts, care about deepening their knowledge of this species.
