The President of the United States has enough on his plate these days, yet his commitments haven't stopped him from listening to hunters.
To accommodate local governments, the Trump administration has decided to modify the hunting limits established in 2015 by President Obama; the new hunting measures were recently published in the United States Official Gazette.
Hunters and state officials in the North American state have always felt that the restrictions imposed by Obama were decidedly severe and clashed with the hunting and fishing traditions of the region's native people.
Alaska Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski, standing alongside President Trump, welcomed this decision, stating that “the President protects Alaska’s hunting and fishing traditions and defends state rights.”
