Federcaccia Sardegna and ANLC Sardegna are satisfied with the TAR ruling.
Having appeared in court to defend Sardinia's 2022-2023 hunting calendar, Federcaccia and ANLC of Sardinia, together with the Region, consider themselves satisfied with the decision of the island's TAR.
The bans on thrushes and ducks have been confirmed, while unfortunately the ruling still provides for suspensions regarding the hunting of lapwings and pochards.
In particular, Federcaccia Sardegna wanted to thank Dr. Michele Sorrenti, coordinator of the FIDC Research Office, for his extensive work supporting the association's theses. Scientific studies are able to inform decisions and will continue this year on the thrush and woodcock species.
